Specialization requirements


The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a program of study leading to the Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 

Admission Requirements

Students are admitted into the department after fulfilling the following requirements:

1. Completion of the following faculty requirements with a cumulative average of not less than 70% : Mathematics 131,132, physics 131, 132, and Mechanical Engineering 121.

2. Consent  of  the  department.
 

Requirements for the Major

Completion of the following sets of course with accumulative  average not less than 70%:

I. Twelve credit hours from Mathematics Department:
 


II. Three credit hours from Civil Engineering Department
 


III. Fourteen credit hours from  Electrical  Engineering Department
 


IV. Three credit hours from the faculty of Commerce and Economics
 


V. Fifty eight obligatory credit hours from the Mechanical Engineering
       Department


VI. Thirteen concentration credit hours from the Mechanical Engineering Department
