establish a clear idea about the the source (Mountain Aquifers) potentiality to meet the water needs of the Palestinians both in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

CONSULTING AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Supervised and contributed in research and projects in the field of Mechanical Engineering and infrastructure and their applications. Worked as Technical Consultants for many projects related to Mechanical Engineering in the West Bank and Gaza Strip such as water distribution, sewage collection and treatment, and storm water drainage systems. Also he supervised and participated in the design of the Moult-stores Cold Storage House as well as the New Abattoir in Gaza.

Technical Consultant, Planner and Instructor for many training projects related to Mechanical Engineering in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Examples of these projects are:

     - Training Programmes in modern basic practices in Water Supply and Wastwater management. The training programmes were sponsored by the S.C.F., USA through its Gaza office. The programme was designed to train engineers working in water sectors in the Municipalities of the Gaza Strip. Summer 1985.

     - Training Programmes in modern basic practices in Water Pumping Systems. The programme was designed to train engineers working in water treatment plants in the UNDP. projects in Gaza Strip. Summer 1991.

     - Training programmes in modern basic practices in Hydraulic Systems. The training programmes were sponsored by the UNDP. The course and practical materials were designed for selected three groups of engineers and technicians from Gaza Strip, Hebron Area and Nablus. 1993-1995.
