Fees

Birzeit University is a non-profit making institution. Approximately one-quarter of its budget comes from student fees, the rest sought as donations from individuals, alumni and organisations in Arab countries and around the world. The approximate fees for each student per semester is around US$500, without financial aid. All fees listed below are given in Jordanian Dinars (JD). 1 JD is approximately equal to US $1.50:

  1. Tuition fees (per credit hour):
  1. Activities fee (per semester)- 30 JD
  2. Graduation fees - 30 JD
  3. International Students' fees - see PAS Brochure (available soon on the website)

Financial Aid

A number of scholarships from the University and other private sources are made available each year to outstanding and needy students. These cover part or all of tuition and lodging fees. Further aid is available in the form of work scholarships and interest-free loans. Students who receive work scholarships work a certain number of hours a week in various departments of the University.
