Update on Al-Haq’s Call for Immediate Intervention to Secure Permission
For the Families of Two Palestinians Killed Monday to Identify their Loved Ones, and for a Palestinian Doctor to attend the Autopsy

Al-Haq would like to thank all those who sent letters this week asking the Israeli authorities to grant permission for the families of Salem Taleb Salem Darawi (23) and Ibrahim Mohammad Ibrahim Wahadneh to identify their bodies and asking that Dr. Jalal al-Jaberi be given permission to attend their autopsies. Yesterday afternoon one member of each of the deceased’s families received permission to enter Israel. They were then able to travel to Tel Aviv to identify the bodies of the two young men. Dr. Jaberi received permission to enter Israel this morning and is taking part in the autopsies this afternoon. He will be transmitting his findings to al-Haq in the coming days.
