Article 35

(...) It is prohibited to commit any acts of hostility directed against historic monuments, works of arts or places of worship which constitute the cultural or spiritual heritage of peoples, and to use them in support of the  military effort

يحظر ارتكاب أية أعمال عدائية موجهة ضد الآثار التاريخية، أو الأعمال الفنية أو أماكن العبادة التي تشكل التراث الثقافي و الروحي للشعوب، واستخدامها في دعم المجهود الحربي.

المادة رقم 16 من بروتكول جنيف الأول المكمل لاتفاقيات جنيف الأربع الخاص بحماية ضحايا النزاعات الدولية غير المسلحة لعام 1977.
