You have the chance to save a life!

This beautiful, energetic young woman is Maha Khalaf who, at the young age
of 27, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic
system.  After many treatments of chemotherapy, she is in need of a bone
marrow transplant.  Here is her story…

Maha was raised in the Bay Area by her mother (Rola), father (Hanna) with
her older sister (Nancy).  Maha’s parents always tried to provide the best
for their daughters, emphasizing the importance of family and education.
Maha was an excellent student and graduated with honors from both Santa
Clara University and UC Berkeley School of Law.  Since earning her degree
and passing the CA Bar, Maha has been living in San Francisco and practicing
at a prominent law firm.  It is not hard to see that Maha has a bright
future ahead of her – please help us keep that future alive…

You can help by registering to become a donor and joining the National
Marrow Donor Program Registry!  Maha’s best chances of finding a match are
within the Arab-American community, but EVERYONE should be tested!  You must
be between the ages of 18-60 and in good health.  You will be asked to
complete a brief health questionnaire, sign a consent form and provide a
small sample of blood.  This is a FREE drive and it only takes about 20
minutes of your time.
