Assalamu 'alaikum Thanks for a nice page. I would like to make a comment. Edward Said talked about being Palestinian by birth and being Palestinian by choice. I fall into the latter category. I am a white anglo saxon male who has not roots to Palestine other than Islam which I embraced seven years ago. I totally indentify with Palestine because of its deeply held roots in Islam so that when I write and speak I say "we Palestinians" and not "the Palestininans." This land is my land also because I open proclaim la ilaha illala, Muhammadan Rusullulah.Yahya |
