Israeli occupation forces have committed many war crimes, including willful and extra-judicial killing, against Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. PCHR and other Palestinian and international human rights organizations have documented many of these crimes.
On Friday, 8 March 2002, in an apparent willful killing, a special Israeli police unit shot dead 22-year-old Mahmoud Sa’id Salah, from Beit Wazan village, west of Nablus, approximately half an hour after he was arrested in Beit Hanina area in occupied Jerusalem. The following photos of the crime were taken by an amateur photographer at his house in Beit Hanina area.
