In this section we will list a number of sites which are good resources for information on Palestinian refugees, statistics, international law and human rights.
- UNRWA:
The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees contains information about Palestinian refugees registered with the agency, a collection of downloadable reports, information on donor financing of UNRWA and the agency's expenditures with planned links to additional UNRWA publications and photos.
- Across Borders Project
The aim of this project is to create an information bank on refugee issues on the World Wide Web. The website provides information about the project and about refugees in general. As camps come online they will be added to this website to form a "refugee ring".
- Dheisheh Refugee Camp
This website contain general information about Dheisheh, institutions and schools in the camp, news and events, press clippings and oral history. Two very interesting sections describe villages that residents in the camp originally come from and stories written by children in the camp to commemorate over 50 years of dispossession. Visitors to the site can subscribe to the camp mailing list and contact people in the camp through the website.
- Palestinian Refugee ResearchNet (PRRN):
Extensive listing of research projects, research papers, documents and internet resources on Palestinian refugees.
- FAFO - Center for International Studies:
Project for the Refugee Working Group includes research reports and resource bibliography on Palestinian refugees.
- SHAML - The Palestinian Diaspora and Refugee Centre:
Research papers, facts and figures, and international documents on Palestinian refugees.
- BADIL - Resource Center
Palestinian NGO for the defence residency and refugee rights. Facts and figures, international documents, images, and research papers.
- United Nations Information System on Palestine (UNISPAL):
The Division for Palestinian Rights, in accordance with a mandate given by the United Nations General Assembly in resolution 46/74 B of 11 December 1991, established in 1993 and has since been gradually developing the United Nations Information System on the Question of Palestine (UNISPAL). The main objective of UNISPAL is to provide users with full-text documents of the United Nations system relevant to the question of Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict in the Middle East since 1946. - Dheisheh Refugee Camp Homepage:
The first homepage from and about a Palestinian refugee camp. Includes essays written by refugee children about their history and childhood in the camp.
- Palestinian Return Centre:
Forum for discussion and monitoring of issues pertaining to the Palestinian diaspora. Promotes the right of return. Site contains reports, newsletter and photos. English and Arabic.
- Palestinian Refugees and the Peace Process (1996):
A paper by Elia Zureik, published by the Institute for Palestine Studies.
- Palestinian Refugee Negotiations: From Madrid to Oslo II (1996):
A paper by Salim Tamari, published by the Institute for Palestin Studies.
- The Feasability of the Right of Return (1997)
